Hello you! Hope you’re doing well! I am super happy to be here today because I am going to talk about something super exciting! I think it is the new release I am the most excited about! (for now of course 😂)

Bonjour vous! J’espère que vous allez bien! Je suis super contente d’être là aujourd’hui pour vous parler d’une nouveauté très excitante! C’est d’ailleurs la dernière nouveauté avec laquelle je me suis le plus amusé dernièrement!

The classic collection of Marc Jacobs beauty Highliner features a wide range of shades but they are all shimmery. I had a first experience with them a few years ago and at first it was the big love but then It started to dry and break… No surprise when I figured out they had to reformulate them. I repurchased 2 shades after the reformulation and so far so good.

To be honest I am more of a shimmery kind of girl and usually when I hear Matte I am far from being excited. I genuinely thought I would pass on these because they were matte. I am glad I did not!

La gamme classique de Highliner de Marc Jacobs beauty est composée d’une large palette de couleurs toutes irisées. La première experience que j’ai eu avec cette gamme il y a quelques années était d’abord une histoire d’amour puis ils ont eu tendance à se casser et sécher assez rapidement. Ce n’était donc pas une surprise quand j’ai appris qu’ils devaient les reformuler. Depuis j’en ai réessayé deux et tout va bien! 

Pour être honnête je suis bien plus une addict des tons irisés que tout ce qui est matte. Le matte ne m’excite pas du tout. J’ai sincèrement pensé ne pas craquer sur ces nouveaux crayons tout simplement parce qu’ils étaient matte. Heureusement que je ne l’ai pas fait! 

The new Matte range features 12 shades from pale pink to electric blue and more classic shades such as brown or grey. The pigmentation is out of this world, one swipe and you’re good to go! You have around 15 seconds to play around before they set and trust me when they set they do not budge AT ALL! They’re completely waterproof. I cried (Onions..), splashed water on my face and even dipped my face into water just to be sure. ALL GOOD! The shades are super bright and the gel texture allows you to play with them as eyeshadows and eyeliners, even in the waterline!!

La nouvelle gamme Matte est composée de 12 teintes, du rose pastel au bleu élétrique en passant par des couleurs plus classiques telles que le brun ou le gris. La pigmentation est incroyable, en un seul passage c’est prêt! Il y a une durée d’à peu près 15 secondes avant que la formule ne se fixe et croyez moi quand c’est fixé ça ne bouge pas DU TOUT! Ils sont complêtement waterproof. J’ai pleuré (les oignons..), j’ai vaporiser de l’eau sur on visage et j’ai même mis la tête sous l’eau pour tester. ALL GOOD!!  Les couleurs sont pleines et la texture gel permet de jouer avec comme ombre à paupière, eyeliners et même dans la muqueuse.

J’ai choisis 5 teintes.

• POPular, a hot pink, Un rose franc.
• Pink of me, Powder pink, un rose poudré
• Déjà blue, powder blue, un bleu pastel
• Out of the blue, Cobalt, un bleu électrique 
• Mist me, Lilac, un lilas
• Fine Wine, suède red, un rouge bordeaux 

There is a little sharper hidden in the end of the pencil so you can always have a sharp nib. Be careful with this part though because I broke the nib once by being too brutal.

Il y a un petit taille crayon au bout du crayon pour pouvoir avoir une mine toujours bien pointu. Attention cependant car j’ai cassé ma mine une fois en étant trop brusque. 

In a nutshell you need these. You simply do. They are everything you expect from a pencil: long lasting, pigmented and easy to play with! Once you pick one you will adore it and go back to get all the other shades. I have 5 now and I still want to get more! I really hope they will come out with more shades.

En d’autres termes il vous les faut! Ils sont tout ce qu’on peut attendre d’un crayon : longue tenue, pigmentés et facile à travailler! Une fois que vous craquez une fois, vous serez tenté de les collectionner. J’en ai 5 maintenant et j’en veux encore! J’espère vraiment qu’il y aura de nouvelles teintes.
