Summer…Glowy skin… Sun kissed cheeks… sunshine… sunburn…
Don’t know about you but summer or spring are playing hide and seek over here. But it’s raining makeup summer collections!! Well actually it just rains.
Among the beautiful summer collections the Estee lauder Bronze goddess never disappoints. Every year they deliver the perfect dose of bronzy, dewy sexiness in a pan. And well, they did this year too! The summer glow Multi palette is my first pick from this collection and oh lord! It was hard to put my hands on it. But you know, with makeup I tend to be pretty tenacious! SO I FOUND IT. AND I BOUGHT IT.
First, look at this beauty!
What does the brand say : Illuminate, contour, and blush with this palette of radiant, sunkissed shades for face, cheeks, and eyes—and let the sun worship you.
Come on! Let the sun worship us!
This palette is 4 OZ/11,5 g and has a bronzer (more a contour shade), a blusher and a highlighter.
The Bronzer is a warm earthy shade with an orangey undertone, very luminous and natural even on a fair-skinned girl like me.
The blusher is a pink with a coral undertone and subtle golden shimmer shade. It recreates perfectly the color of sunkissed cheeks. (At least mines)
The highlighter is a beige with a golden sheen shade.
Both three make a perfect combination if you want to achieve a natural yet glowy and healthy summer look. BUT. I found the bronzer a bit hard in the pan and I had to dip my brush in several times to get the result I wanted. I used the Real technique sculpting brush for the bronzer, in order to have a subtle contour on my face. The blusher on the other hand is really easy to apply and to blend, it does not stain the skin (nor the brush btw). I used the Bobbi brown angled face brush to apply it and I think these two work very well together. The highlighter is my favorite powder from this palette. It is soft, buttery, pigmented and luminous. I do not own that kind of highlighter in my stash, I have some golden, rose gold, bronze, fifty shades of pink highlighters… but this one is special. It is not too light nor too dark for my pale skin. I used a real technique duo fiber contour brush to apply it.
TADAAAAAA (excuse the very bushy eyebrows but we can’t wax a sunburnt skin 😉)
